Golden Kamuy Theatrical Pre-Screening “Sapporo Beer Factory Arc” Main Trailer Released — Theme Song by Awich × ALI: “An Anthem for Those Who Fight to the End”

The main trailer for the theatrical pre-screening edition of the final chapter of the TV anime Golden Kamuy, titled the “Sapporo Beer Factory Arc” (Part 1 opening October 10, Part 2 on October 31), has been released. The trailer features the theme song Kogane no Kanata (“Beyond the Gold”) performed by Awich × ALI.

Awich commented, “This is an anthem for those who fight to the very end. We created it with respect for every moment leading toward the finale.” ALI added, “We approached this work with the desire to take another step forward—deeper, deeper, and filled with love.”

The pre-screening edition follows Saichi Sugimoto and Asirpa, who return from Karafuto and resume their journey to find the hidden gold together with Yoshitake Shiraishi. Along the way, they ally with escaped convict Boutarou Kaizoku (pseudonym) and pursue fellow fugitive Keiji Ueji to Sapporo. However, Sapporo is already the stage of fierce maneuvering: scouts from the 7th Division led by First Lieutenant Usami and Master Sergeant Kikuta, as well as Toshizo Hijikata’s faction, are searching for another escaped convict responsible for a series of prostitute murders. Though tensions flare between Sugimoto and Hijikata, both sides choose to cooperate to prevent the gold from falling into the 7th Division’s hands. Learning that the next murder site is the Sapporo Beer Factory, they lay an ambush—only to be confronted by Usami’s men and even Ueji himself, plunging the situation into chaos.

I feel proud to have been able to turn into song, together with ALI, the cycles of life, prayers, betrayals, bonds, and resolve depicted in Golden Kamuy. The Ainu reminded me of Okinawa, living in harmony with the land, preserving their culture despite oppression. With that resonance in mind, we created Kogane no Kanata. This is an anthem for those who fight through to the end. We crafted it with respect for every moment leading toward the conclusion. I hope this song remains etched in your memory alongside the story.

When we were offered this project, we were filled with astonishment and gratitude. We had already poured all our feelings toward Golden Kamuy into the Season 4 opening theme NEVER SAY GOODBYE feat. Mummy-D, so this time we challenged ourselves to go even further—deeper, deeper, with a burning desire to express love. Together with Awich, Chaki Zulu, and my partner Ryo ‘LEFTY’ Miyata, who also worked with me on the previous song, we reached a place of pure devotion that I could never have seen on my own. In this final chapter, what will you discover beyond the gold? Long live Golden Kamuy! Long live music!!!
