The story and preview stills for Episode 3 of the anime Call of the Night (JP: よふかしのうた, Yofukashi no Uta) have been released. This episode will air on Friday, July 18 at 11:30 PM (JST).

Detective Anko Uguisu, who hunts vampires, appears before Ko and the others—and suddenly stabs Akkun with a knife. Thanks to the efforts of Seri and Hatsuka, Anko is forced to retreat. However, a critical truth is uncovered: "Vampires’ weaknesses lie in the personal belongings they had when they were still human." The group gathers to discuss how to deal with this new threat…

About Call of the Night

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since August 2019, Call of the Night follows Kou Yamori, a restless middle schooler who dislikes social interactions—especially with girls. One night, he meets the mysterious vampire beauty Nazuna Nanakusa and embarks on a special kind of nightlife adventure.

The anime adaptation debuted in 2022, and the original manga concluded in January 2024.
