The story and preview stills for Episode 2 of the anime Call of the Night (JP: よふかしのうた, Yofukashi no Uta) have been released. This episode will air on Friday, July 11 at 11:30 PM (JST).

Mahiru meets a mysterious woman named Kiku and becomes close to her, but Kou soon sees through her true identity. Though hesitant, Kiku eventually confesses the truth to Mahiru. Later, Kou hears about Kiku's past from Nazuna, which deepens his suspicions.

About Call of the Night

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since August 2019, Call of the Night follows Kou Yamori, a restless middle schooler who dislikes social interactions—especially with girls. One night, he meets the mysterious vampire beauty Nazuna Nanakusa and embarks on a special kind of nightlife adventure.

The anime adaptation debuted in 2022, and the original manga concluded in January 2024.
