The story and preview stills for Episode 1 of the anime Call of the Night (JP: よふかしのうた, Yofukashi no Uta) have been released. This episode will air on Friday, July 4 at 11:30 PM (JST).

As Ko gets dragged out by Nico and friends under the banner of “Let’s support Yamori’s love life,” Hatsuka takes Nazuna to an izakaya to give her advice on how to win Kou’s heart. However, what was supposed to be a serious talk turns into a drinking session, and Nazuna ends up getting carried home on Ko’s back.

About Call of the Night

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since August 2019, Call of the Night follows Kou Yamori, a restless middle schooler who dislikes social interactions—especially with girls. One night, he meets the mysterious vampire beauty Nazuna Nanakusa and embarks on a special kind of nightlife adventure.

The anime adaptation debuted in 2022, and the original manga concluded in January 2024.
