Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. Manga Concludes After 4 Years, Season 2 of Anime Set for 2026 Broadcast

The manga Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. has officially concluded with its final chapter released on July 9 via the Shonen Jump+ manga app. The series, which began serialization in October 2021, ends its four-year run on a high note. At the same time, it was announced that the anime's second season will premiere in 2026, accompanied by the release of a teaser visual.

Set in a world where supernatural disasters known as “kaii (JP: 怪異)” exist, and magical girls who combat them are seen as aspirational professionals, Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. blends workplace drama with magical girl action. The story follows protagonist Kana Sakuragi, who gets caught in a kaiji attack during a job interview and meets the delinquent-spirited magical girl Hitomi Koshigaya. Recognized for her latent magical talent, Kana is recruited straight out of university into the startup company Magilumiere Inc. There, she navigates both corporate life and magical girl duties alongside quirky and unpredictable coworkers. The anime’s first season aired from October to December 2024.

The newly released teaser visual for Season 2 features Kana Sakuragi gripping a broom and gazing forward with a look of determined resolve. The upcoming season is set to portray her continued growth as both a working adult and a magical girl.
