The production of Season 2 of the TV anime "Magilumiere Co., Ltd." has been officially announced. Alongside this announcement, a brand-new key visual illustrated by the series’ original artist, Yutaka Aoki, has been unveiled.

"Magilumiere Co., Ltd." is set in a world where supernatural disasters known as "Kaiju" exist. In this society, "magical girls" who eliminate these threats have become widely admired professionals. The series blends action with a workplace drama as it explores the lives of magical girls in a corporate setting.

The story begins with the protagonist, Kana Sakuragi, who gets caught in a Kaiju attack during a job interview. There, she encounters Hitomi Koshigaya, a feisty magical girl with a rebellious streak. After struggling with her job search and losing confidence in herself, Kana discovers her own potential as a magical girl when she helps Hitomi in battle. This pivotal moment leads to Kana joining the start-up company Magilumiere Co., Ltd. as a fresh graduate. Working alongside a group of unique and quirky senior employees, Kana grows as both a working adult and a magical girl.

In today’s broadcast of the final episode of Season 1, Episode 12, "One and the Team", Kana is shown rallying her team while facing a critical moment during a Kaiju extermination. Her actions reflect her growth from a rookie to a reliable team member, providing a satisfying conclusion to the season.

Following the broadcast, the announcement of Season 2 was made, accompanied by the unveiling of a new key visual illustrated by Yutakai Aoki.
