Fire Incident Hits Tokyo Revengers Stage Production Ahead of Osaka Opening

On June 24, the Tokyo Revengers Stage Production Committee announced that a fire had occurred during transportation for the stage play Tokyo Revengers –The LAST LEAP–, scheduled to open in Osaka on June 26. The fire destroyed all costumes, wigs, makeup kits, and part of the stage set.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the incident. However, the production team is now working at full speed to assess the damage and secure replacement items.

June 26 Show Reclassified as “Preview Performance”

Due to the damage and recovery efforts, the production committee has announced that the first performance on June 26 at COOL JAPAN PARK OSAKA WW Hall will be held as a preview performance. According to the statement, the show may face technical or production-related adjustments, including possible interruptions.

The start time has also been adjusted from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. JST. Ticketholders for the original show are automatically invited to attend the preview.

Thank you for your continued support of the Tokyo Revengers stage productions.

We regret to inform you that a fire incident occurred during transportation by a delivery company for Tokyo Revengers –The LAST LEAP–, which is scheduled to open on Thursday, June 26 at COOL JAPAN PARK OSAKA WW Hall.

As a result of the fire, all costumes, makeup equipment (including wigs), and part of the stage set were completely destroyed. Thankfully, no one involved in the incident was harmed.

At present, we are working diligently to assess the impact of the damage and carry out restoration efforts. However, these efforts must be conducted urgently and simultaneously with processes intended to enhance the overall quality of the production. We are still uncertain about how much can be restored or replaced in time.

After careful discussions by the production committee, we have decided to classify the performance scheduled for Thursday, June 26 at 6:00 p.m. as a preview performance, as we anticipate that this performance will be most affected by the incident.

We kindly ask for your understanding that this preview performance may be subject to interruptions, technical issues, or production-related adjustments during the show.

In addition, we will be changing the start time for this performance as follows:
[Before] Thursday, June 26 – 6:00 p.m. → [After] Thursday, June 26 – 6:30 p.m.

Guests holding tickets for the original 6:00 p.m. performance are invited to attend the 6:30 p.m. preview performance instead.

Although we are facing extremely difficult circumstances, we are doing everything we can in this limited time to overcome these challenges and raise the curtain on opening day. Every member of the cast and staff is fully committed to delivering the highest quality performance possible to all those who have been looking forward to this stage play.

For those unable to attend or not satisfied with the Osaka preview performance, we will offer either ticket transfers to other performances (including the Yokohama run) or refunds.
