The first episode of the new series "Negai no Astro (Astro of Wishes)" will span 58 pages, with the tagline "Supernatural Powers × Outlaws". A preview of the outlaw characters was also released, with a synopsis stating, "The struggle for succession within the Sekiken group erupts! At that time, Hibaru is...!?"

Additionally, "Weekly Shonen Jump" will start serializing "Far East Necromance" (by Ayumi Naba), depicting necromancer battles from the 21st issue on sale on the 22nd, and "SaiKuruBiyori" (by Omusuke Kobayashi), depicting a mysterious transfer student from the 24th issue on sale on May 13th. Furthermore, special PVs for these three new series have been released on the official "Weekly Shonen Jump" YouTube channel "Jump Channel". Wakui made his manga debut with "Shinjuku Host" published in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" in 2005. Afterward, he serialized "Shinjuku Swan" in "Weekly Young Magazine" from 2005 to 2013, which became a major hit with anime and live-action movie adaptations, followed by "Tokyo Revengers" in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" from 2017 to 2022. Since the conclusion of "Tokyo Revengers," Wakui had not announced any serialized works, making this eagerly anticipated new series a significant announcement for fans.
