Chainsaw Man – The Reze Arc New Teaser Visual
Based on the manga Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which has surpassed 30 million copies in circulation, the story is currently serialized on Shonen Jump+ (Shueisha). The 2022 TV anime adaptation by acclaimed studio MAPPA—also known for Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan The Final Season—received widespread acclaim in Japan and internationally, with distribution across more than 200 countries and regions.
The Reze Arc follows protagonist Denji as he is drawn into a whirlwind of emotion and chaos after a fateful encounter with the mysterious girl Reze. MAPPA brings the story to life with high-octane battle sequences and emotional tension, staying true to the studio’s signature animation style.
The newly revealed poster captures Denji and Reze holding hands, evoking a bittersweet sense of young romance. But looming over this tender moment is a dramatic showdown between Chainsaw Man and Bomb Devil—signaling the beginning of an intense and bloody conflict. In the background, key characters from the Public Safety Devil Hunters' Special Division—including Makima, Aki Hayakawa, Kobeni Higashiyama, and Kishibe—stand alongside fiends like Power, Beam, Violence Fiend, and Angel Devil, underscoring the scale of the impending battle.
Additionally, MAPPA is slated to host a panel at Anime Expo 2025, taking place July 3–6 in Los Angeles. New information about the Chainsaw Man – The Reze Arc movie is expected to be revealed. Company president Manabu Otsuka and vice president Hiroya Hasegawa are scheduled to appear, with a livestream of the panel confirmed for global audiences.
