'Kessoku Band' Featured on the Back Cover of "CUT" Magazine; Special Feature on "Bocchi the Rock!" Includes Voice Actors' Roundtable

The June issue of the culture magazine "CUT" (on sale May 20th) announced its first cover feature on the anime "Bocchi the Rock!". The voice actor band that appears in the series, Kessoku Band, will grace the back cover.

Recently, Kessoku Band made their first outdoor festival appearance at "JAPAN JAM 2024", and this issue of "CUT" presents a major feature tracing the band's journey and the "light beyond solitude" depicted in "Bocchi the Rock!".

The feature includes exclusive photos of Kessoku Band—Aoyama Yoshino, Suzushiro Sayumi, Mizuno Saku, and Hasegawa Ikumi—taken at the live house 'STARRY', along with a roundtable discussion, an email interview with the original creator Hamaji Aki, comments from artists who add sound to "Bocchi the Rock!", and reviews of all 17 songs by Kessoku Band. Additionally, Kessoku Band is confirmed to perform at this summer's "ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL", organized and produced by Rockin' On. This series is based on the popular four-panel manga "Bocchi the Rock!" by Hamaji Aki, serialized in Houbunsha's "Manga Time Kirara MAX". It follows the story of an extremely shy girl named Goto Hitori who joins the band , along with three unique members: Ichiji Natsu, Yamada Ryou, and Kita Ikuyo. The series, which portrays their growth together, has resonated with many. Upon its anime broadcast in fall 2022, it instantly exploded in popularity among young people and has won numerous awards, gaining immense support both domestically and internationally. Additionally, on the music front, 's full album "Kessoku Band" topped the Oricon 'Digital Album Sales by Work' annual ranking in 2023, creating a significant stir.
