The TV anime "Promise of Wizard" has been scheduled to begin airing in January 2025. This announcement was made during the event "Promise of Wizard –Our Magical Party Wiz You!– A Walpurgis Night Invitation," where the first teaser visual and promotional video were unveiled. Further updates on the anime are expected in August.

Originally launched by coly Inc. on November 26, 2019, the game "Promise of Wizard," also known colloquially as "MahoYaku," has achieved over 7 million downloads. The story is set in a world where wizards and humans coexist. The protagonist (player) is summoned as a "Sage" to a world that suffers catastrophic damage from an event known as the "Great Calamity," which occurs once a year due to the moon's influence. Along with 21 other "Sage Wizards," the protagonist trains and battles to prepare for the next Great Calamity, forging bonds and connecting hearts along the way. The game has since been adapted into a manga in 2020 and a 2.5D stage play in 2021, and is now finally being turned into an anime.
