The key visual for Grand Blue Season 2 has been officially released, showcasing not only returning characters like Iori Kitahara and Kohei Imamura but also introducing new faces such as Sakurako Busujima, Shiori Kitahara, and Naumi Otoya. This vibrant artwork captures the essence of the series’ signature chaos and summer energy.

Grand Blue is a coming-of-age diving comedy that follows protagonist Iori Kitahara, who moves to a seaside town for university and ends up lodging at his uncle’s diving shop, “GRAND BLUE.” Expecting a picturesque life filled with beaches, childhood friends, and idyllic campus days, Iori instead finds himself surrounded by rowdy, party-loving male divers. Alongside his new friend Kohei Imamura, Iori dives into a life full of “bare” experiences.

The anime is based on the manga serialized in good! Afternoon (Kodansha), which has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation. It was first adapted into a TV anime in 2018, followed by a live-action film in 2020, and even a stage adaptation.
