Awajima Hyakkei Anime Adaptation Set for 2026 Broadcast—Produced by MADHOUSE
The television anime adaptation of Awajima Hyakkei has been officially announced and is slated to air in 2026. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual, an ultra teaser video, an introduction, and key staff information have been revealed.

Set at the fictional Awajima Musical Academy, the story follows the vibrant and emotional lives of several young girls who dream of standing on stage. Through shifting perspectives and gently intertwining narratives, this coming-of-age story explores their hopes, struggles, and connections.
The anime is being produced by MADHOUSE, known for acclaimed works such as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and Orb: On the Movements of the Earth. Direction is helmed by Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru, My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999), with Kunihiko Hamada serving as character designer.
