The announcement came during CinemaCon, an annual movie industry event hosted by the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), held this year in Las Vegas on March 31 local time (April 1 Japan time). Sony Pictures unveiled the title and release schedule for several of its upcoming blockbuster films during its presentation.
A special video message from Tom Holland was played at the event, in which he himself confirmed the new title. The previous film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, concluded with a dramatic twist: the world forgetting both Spider-Man and Peter Parker’s identities. With that in mind, the title “Brand New Day” perfectly captures the new beginning awaiting the hero. Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates.
