The manga Now More Love With The Girls (Japanese title: 幼馴染とはラブコメにならない, Osananajimi to wa Rabu Kome ni Naranai), written and illustrated by Shinya Sanrē, is officially set to receive a TV anime adaptation in 2026. The announcement was made alongside the release of the anime’s first teaser PV and teaser visual.

where it has been gaining a dedicated fanbase for its unique spin on romantic comedy tropes. In particular, it subverts the typical "childhood friend" romantic development often found in manga and anime.
Tezuka Productions, the studio known for its involvement in classic and modern anime titles, will be in charge of animation production.
