One day, Reiko attends the 60th birthday party of Goro Kiryuin. Among the attendees are Goro’s daughter Ayaka and Reiko’s close university friends, including Kaori. Flustered in her dress, Reiko luckily finds a change of clothes nearby and heads to the scene. The victim turns out to be Mizuho, a senior from Reiko’s university days. Before passing out, Mizuho utters a cryptic clue pointing to the culprit. Based on that clue, Reiko’s close friends are gathered as suspects. But with no clear lead, Inspector Kazamatsuri gives Reiko an impossible order: “Solve it in 20 minutes!”
Just as she’s at her wit’s end, a mysterious man appears behind her and says, “I know who the culprit is,” revealing the truth behind the incident.
