After realizing each other’s feelings, Yuu Natsume and Himari Inuzuka continue their relationship as "best friends (partners in destiny)."

Yuu becomes so absorbed in making accessories that he submits a nearly blank test paper.

Summoned by his homeroom teacher, he is told that unless he passes a retest, he faces the risk of repeating a year or even expulsion.

Pale with worry, Yuu and Himari decide that Yuu will stay over at Himari’s house to study for the retest together.

About Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive?

In a quiet countryside middle school, a boy and a girl vow to be friends forever. Sharing a dream, they become inseparable—“shin’yuu,” or soulmates in purpose.

Without any romantic developments, two years pass. Himari Inuzuka, a cheerful and outgoing girl who's never experienced first love, and Yu Natsume, a plant-loving boy who makes flower accessories, remain close friends in their private high school gardening club.

However, everything changes when Yuu reconnects with his first love. Suddenly, the dynamic between the two begins to shift. Can Himari, now discovering the feeling of love, break free from being his “ideal best friend”?
