Yuu is shocked to learn that Rion was his first love. At school, he’s thrown off by Himari’s sudden shift in behavior—she starts avoiding him. Meanwhile, Rion’s modeling project continues to progress, and the subtle tension between Yuu, Himari, and Rion becomes more apparent. When Yuu ends up alone with Himari in the science lab, she suddenly says, “You're going to make love-themed accessories, right? Want to practice on me?”

In a quiet countryside middle school, a boy and a girl vow to be friends forever. Sharing a dream, they become inseparable—“shin’yuu,” or soulmates in purpose.

Without any romantic developments, two years pass. Himari Inuzuka, a cheerful and outgoing girl who's never experienced first love, and Yu Natsume, a plant-loving boy who makes flower accessories, remain close friends in their private high school gardening club.
