The seventh part of the series is set in late 19th-century America and depicts the first-ever transcontinental horse race across North America. Johnny Joestar, a former genius jockey who has become paraplegic, forms an alliance with the mysterious outlaw Gyro Zeppeli as they advance through the race together.
The race for an enormous prize becomes entangled with sinister conspiracies, as the two strive toward the goal. The original manga series was serialized from January 2004 to April 2011.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is based on the popular manga created by Hirohiko Araki, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) in 1987.
