On April 12, the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fan event JOJODAY STAGE took place at Yoyogi National Gymnasium’s Second Arena. Voice actors including Kazuyuki Okitsu (Jonathan Joestar), Daisuke Ono (Jotaro Kujo), Junichi Suwabe (Leone Abbacchio), and Fairouz Ai (Jolyne Cujoh) appeared alongside musical unit JO☆STARS—TOMMY, Coda, and JIN—with Kendo Kobayashi serving as MC. The event also unveiled the long-awaited news: the anime adaptation of Steel Ball Run, the manga’s Part 7, is officially in production.

JO☆STARS Ignite the Stage, Voice Cast Recreates Iconic Lines
The show opened with TOMMY’s live performance of “JoJo Sono Chi no Sadame,” the first opening theme from Phantom Blood. At the climax, the cast took the stage one by one, energizing the audience with signature catchphrases and poses inspired by their characters. Okitsu led a Hamon-inspired wave across the arena, while Ono brought the crowd to life with a classic JoJo pose.
The first panel saw the cast discuss how they first encountered the JoJo series. Ono recalled reading Part 3 as a child and being scared of the artwork, only to fall in love with Part 5 during college—so much so that Giorno’s quote about resolve became a personal mantra that led him to voice acting. Okitsu shared a humorous anecdote about reading the manga in a beauty salon as a child, only for his story to overlap nearly word-for-word with a pre-recorded message from Yuki Ono (Josuke Higashikata), prompting laughs from the crowd.
Messages from other cast members including Tomokazu Sugita (Joseph Joestar), Kensho Ono (Giorno Giovanna), and a surprise quiz appearance by Kenta Miyake (Muhammad Avdol) kept the energy high. Actor Issei Takahashi, who plays Rohan Kishibe in the upcoming film Rohan at the Louvre: The Confessional, also made a special VTR appearance.
