Set several decades after the events of Diablo III, Diablo IV amplifies the franchise’s signature dark fantasy elements—bringing forth a bleak, brutal world. The game features multiple playable classes, each with unique characteristics, and allows players to explore a wide range of builds through skill upgrades and customizable gear.

This upcoming collaboration with Berserk marks the first time Diablo IV has teamed up with another title.

Berserk, created by the late Kentaro Miura, is revered for its harrowing narrative and grim, medieval-inspired world. Since Miura’s passing in May 2021, the manga has continued under the supervision of his close friend Kouji Mori, with Studio Gaga—comprised of Miura’s apprentices—handling the illustration. The series commands a global fanbase, boasting approximately 60 million copies in circulation worldwide, including digital editions as of September 2023. It has also been adapted into both theatrical films and TV anime series.

Although specific details of the crossover have yet to be revealed at the time of this article’s publication, it is expected that Diablo IV will integrate Berserk-inspired content directly into the game—a historic first for the franchise.
