Berserk first debuted in 1989 in Monthly Animal House, later transitioning to Young Animal, and has since sold over 55 million copies worldwide. Set in a world filled with swords, sorcery, and monstrous creatures, it follows Guts, a lone warrior who battles nightmarish foes in his relentless struggle for survival.

However, in June 2022, under the supervision of manga artist Kouji Mori, the series resumed serialization, with Studio Gaga—composed of Miura’s former assistants—continuing the artwork. The latest volume, Volume 42, was released prior to this upcoming release.
