Fans Tear Up at Editor's Long Comment Overflowing with Love for "Berserk". A close friend who knows the story up to the final episode: "Kentaro Miura the genius made it possible to draw it".

"Berserk" Comics Vol. 41

"Berserk" Comics Vol. 41

The reason for the resumption of serialization was that "Kentaro Miura had told the story and episodes of 'Berserk' to his close friend, manga artist Tsuneji Mori, before his death," the Young Animal editorial department stated.

"The concept notes and character designs drawn by Mr. Miura were found, and the manga artist Tsuneji Mori, who was a close friend of the artist, supervised the work. The manga will be drawn by Studio Gaga, which contains staff members who have studied under Mr. Miura.

As for their thoughts on "Berserk," they said, "We want people to read the last episode and the last frame of the manga that we have brought together. We, the production team, have decided on a basic stance for the resumption of the series.

Mr. Mori also stated, "I know the story of 'Berserk' up to the last episode. However, this does not mean that I can draw the story because I know the story. Only the genius Kentaro Miura could have created such a great work as "Berserk.

Editorial department and Mori's comment full of love for "Berserk" made fans say, "Berserk is ...... wow, Kentaro Miura's legacy...", "It looks like it could be made into a movie", "It was full of feelings, To be honest, I'm not really a fan of Berserk. But seeing this made me cry.", "I understand what a great manga is, by observing the whole movement. I’m going to cry. Like everybody else.".

Miura's masterpiece "Berserk" is a popular dark fantasy that began serialization in "Monthly Animal House" in 1989, then moved to "Young Animal" and sold more than 40 million copies of comics. It depicts the hero, Guts, in a world where swords, magic, and demons exist. The series was adapted into an animated television series from 1997 to 1998, a three-part animated film series from 2012 to 2013, and an animated television series again from 2016 to 2017.
