This new venture aligns with MAPPA’s long-standing vision of delivering anime that remains etched in viewers' hearts. Over the past 14 years, the studio has been creating impactful works, and with mappa records, it aims to further deepen the worlds of its anime through music and elevate its creative expression.

Working alongside composers and artists, mappa records will develop music that more closely reflects each anime’s world-building, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible when combining “music” and “animation.”

In addition to producing music for its anime titles, mappa records plans to distribute music content worldwide, release physical formats such as CDs and vinyl records, and even organize live performances. These initiatives aim to offer fans more immersive experiences and new ways to engage with their favorite series.

MAPPA commented, “We will continue to do our utmost to deliver anime that stays in your heart.”
