In the newly released PV, fans can hear the opening theme song “Snowdrop” performed by the popular three-piece rock band Conton Candy. The track features a high-energy sound that matches the emotional tone of the series.

New characters also make their debut in this installment. Konomi Kohara voices Sara Himeji, and Manaka Iwami plays Miori Mito—both characters are heard for the first time in the new PV, offering a glimpse of how they’ll integrate into the story.

Character illustrations have also been unveiled for Uzuki Hirokawa, Ikumi Akagi, Sara Himeji, Miori Mito, and Shoko Makinohara. In addition, the official Rascal Does Not Dream series TikTok account has launched, with plans to release a variety of video content leading up to the anime’s premiere.

Further building on the excitement, a surprise music video for the song “Social World” by character Toko Kirishima has been released. Kirishima’s official YouTube channel and X (formerly Twitter) account have also launched, adding new digital platforms for fan engagement.

In this latest chapter, the high school protagonist has now entered college, where he encounters new people, new struggles, and mysterious phenomena. Set in a new location—Yokohama—the story once again combines supernatural elements with heartfelt human experiences.

The series is based on the original light novels by Hajime Kamoshida. Returning staff members include director Soichi Masui, series composer Masahiro Yokotani, and character designer Satomi Tamura. The animation is produced by CloverWorks.
