Voice actors Daisuke Ono, Houko Kuwashima, Kenichi Suzumura, and Kenji Akabane attended the completion stage greeting event for the anime film Be Forever Yamato REBEL3199 Chapter 3: Ultramarine Asteroid on March 19 in Tokyo. The movie is set for release on April 11.

At the event, Daisuke Ono reprised his role as Susumu Kodai, Houko Kuwashima as Yuki Mori, Kenichi Suzumura as Daisuke Shima, and Kenji Akabane as Yasuo Nanbu. Chief Supervisor Harutoshi Fukui and Director Naomichi Yamato also took the stage, with Eriko Nakamura, the voice of Mikage Kiryu, serving as the event’s MC.

Despite the celebratory occasion, Fukui humorously reflected on the grueling production schedule: “The only thing we’re thinking right now is, ‘Wow, we actually made it in time.’ The staff screening was just two days ago,” he admitted with a wry smile. Director Yamato added, “I honestly thought we wouldn’t even have a staff screening.”

Fukui continued, “We pushed to the absolute last moment, not even knowing how we would land it. This time, I seriously thought we wouldn’t make it.” Kuwashima then remarked, “Didn’t you say something similar for Chapter 2?” to which Fukui replied, “Oh, it’s definitely worse this time. By the time we reach the seventh and final chapter, I think I’ll be nothing but bones.”
