Megumi Han Takes Over Her Mother Keiko Han's Role as Sasha in "Yamato Forever REBEL3199"
New information has been released regarding the anime film "Yamato Forever REBEL3199," part of the "Space Battleship Yamato" series. It has been announced that Megumi Han will be taking over the role of Sasha, a popular character from the third theatrical film "Yamato Forever," originally released in 1980, from her mother, Keiko Han.

"Yamato Forever REBEL3199" is the latest entry in the "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" series, a reimagined version of the 1980 theatrical film "Yamato Forever." The new film adds fresh interpretations and reconstructs the original story. It will be screened in seven chapters nationwide, with "Chapter Two: Red Sun Offensive" set to be released on November 22.

Sasha is a young girl who is the niece of the protagonist, Susumu Kodai, and his only surviving family member. She is set to play a key role in the upcoming story.
