The production of the second season of the TV anime "Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits" (the first season aired from April to September 2018) has been confirmed, with a scheduled broadcast in fall 2025.

The series follows the story of a female university student, Aoi Tsubaki, who is taken to the hidden world (Kakuriyo) as collateral for her grandfather's debts and ends up working at a traditional inn owned by spirits instead of marrying the ogre innkeeper. She opens a dining establishment where she serves food, intertwining her life with spirits such as ogres and nine-tailed foxes. The original work started with the publication of the first volume, "Married to the Ayakashi Inn," in April 2015. Currently, the original novel series has 12 volumes and the manga adaptations include 10 volumes from B's-LOG COMICS and 4 volumes from Sirius KC. The series has become a popular franchise, exceeding a total of 2.5 million copies.
