Live Special Program for "My Hero Academia" Season 7! Featuring Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Koki Uchiyama, with Post-Broadcast Talk

The 7th season of the TV anime "My Hero Academia" is set to start broadcasting on May 4th on the NTV network in Japan. In celebration of the premiere, a live special on YouTube featuring voice actors Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Koki Uchiyama has been scheduled for the same day.

The three actors, who voice the central characters Deku, Katsuki Bakugo, and Tomura Shigaraki, will appear on the day of the first broadcast. The program will consist of two parts: Part 1 before the anime broadcast at 5 PM and Part 2 after the anime broadcast at 6 PM, sandwiching the anime's airing with a unique "My Hero Academia" discussion by the trio.

They will discuss key points to look out for in Season 7 and share behind-the-scenes secrets of Episode 139 "Europe and America at the Limit! An Amazing Guy" which airs that day, only possible to discuss post-broadcast. The "My Hero Academia" Season 7 Premiere Special, "The Time for the Decisive Battle Has Come!" will be live-streamed on the YouTube TOHO animation channel.

Based on a popular manga that has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation, the series is set in a world where superpowers, known as "Quirks," are common. It follows protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku) as he strives to become a "Hero" who protects society and combats criminals using their Quirks for evil, growing alongside his peers at the prestigious U.A. High School for heroes.

The series has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since July 2014, and the first season of the TV anime started in April 2016, with multiple films also released. The latest series, "My Hero Academia" Season 7, will begin broadcasting on May 4th.
