Joe Hisaishi Cancels France Concerts Due to Health Issues – Currently Recuperating for Upcoming Performances
Renowned composer Joe Hisaishi (74) has announced the cancellation of his appearances at the Bordeaux (Feb 27–28) and Paris (March 2–3) concerts due to health concerns. The news was shared on his official website on February 26, 2025.

The official statement confirmed:
"Joe Hisaishi will be unable to perform due to health issues. The concerts will proceed with a substitute conductor, as decided by the event organizers."
Additionally, the website assured fans that Hisaishi is currently recovering and preparing for his upcoming concerts in Tokyo and Rotterdam next month:
"He looks forward to meeting everyone again soon."
