About My Dress-Up Darling

The manga, serialized in Young Gangan since 2018, follows Wakana Gojo, a high school boy aspiring to become a Kashirashi (a craftsman specializing in making traditional Hina doll faces). Although passionate about his craft, he struggles to fit in with his peers and is unfamiliar with their trends. In contrast, Marin Kitagawa, the class's popular and outgoing girl, seems to belong to a completely different world. However, an unexpected event leads them to share a secret, setting the stage for a heartwarming cosplay comedy.

The series has surpassed 12 million copies in circulation. The anime adaptation aired from January to March 2022, with a sequel in production. Additionally, a live-action drama aired from October to December 2024.
