The story details and scene cuts for "Shangri-La Frontier" Episode 45 (S2, EP19) titled "Time for a Three-Way Cut on the Dragon Fish" airing nationwide on 28 MBS and TBS stations on February 23, have been released.

The story follows Rakuro Hizutome, a gamer with a peculiar love for notoriously bad games, as he takes on the masterpiece game Shangri-La Frontier, which boasts 30 million players. The original manga, currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine, has achieved massive popularity, winning four consecutive reader polls and surpassing 10 million copies in circulation.

Sunraku is dragged into the deep-sea metropolis of Luluias, the Abyssal Alliance Capital, a city where everything is inverted, under the influence of one of the Seven Strongest Species, Kutarnid of the Abyss. There, he encounters Araba, a talking fish-man, and joins forces with him. As they explore, Sunraku reunites with Emul and Stude, who were also pulled into the depths. However, Emul isn't just accompanied by Stude… but someone else as well.
