A massive Doraemon mosaic artwork created by 700 children was unveiled at Universal City Station, the gateway to Universal Studios Japan (USJ), on February 13.

This initiative is part of USJ’s CSR program, under the slogan “LOVE HAS NO LIMIT”. The project included a special art class called "ART HAS NO LIMIT!", which began in December 2024. Participants included children from Osaka elementary schools, special education classes, and pediatric hospital wards.

A One-of-a-Kind Masterpiece by 700 Young Artists

On display until early May

Looking closely, each unique artwork reflects the creativity and emotions of the children. The program emphasized the message:
🗨️ “The answer is within you. Your unique ideas are amazing.”

The experience left a deep impact, with children expressing:
🖌️ "This made me love drawing even more!"
🎨 "I've never had so much fun creating art!"

Bringing Joy to Hospitalized Children

Children from Osaka City General Medical Center’s pediatric ward also contributed. Dr. Natsui Yamazaki, head of the pediatric hematology and oncology department, shared:
💬 “The fact that their artwork is displayed for so many to see will surely make them happy. I believe this mosaic will give them strength to face tomorrow’s treatment.”

USJ x ‘Doraemon: Nobita’s World-Painting Story’ Collaboration

USJ is also collaborating with the upcoming movie ‘Doraemon: Nobita’s World-Painting Story’ (premiering March 7). A new attraction, ‘Doraemon 4-D Art Adventure Nobita’s World-Painting Story’, will immerse visitors in an art-themed adventure.
