About Wicked

The upcoming film Wicked is a grand cinematic adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical of the same name, bringing the stunning world of The Wizard of Oz to life with breathtaking visuals. The story follows the friendship between Elphaba, the so-called "Wicked Witch," and Glinda, the "Good Witch." The film has been nominated for ten Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

USJ previously hosted the Wicked stage show from 2006 to 2011, delivering a powerful message of courage, friendship, and overcoming adversity. Now, after 14 years, Wicked is returning to the park in an all-new way!

As part of the celebration, a special message from the Japanese voice cast—Mitsuki Takahata (Elphaba) and Miisha Shimizu (Glinda)—will also be released.
