USJ Unveils New Doraemon Attraction: Explore the World Inside Paintings with Beloved Movie Characters
Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka has announced its first-ever Doraemon movie-themed attraction, Doraemon 4-D Art Adventure: Nobita’s World of Paintings. The limited-time 4D attraction will run from February 14 to August 17, 2025, immersing fans in the world of the upcoming movie.
Dive Into Doraemon: Nobita’s World of Paintings
The attraction is based on Doraemon: Nobita’s World of Paintings, the latest installment in the beloved movie series set to release on March 7, 2025. The film takes Nobita, Doraemon, and friends on a thrilling journey into the fantastical landscapes of a medieval European-inspired painting.
Doraemon 4-D Art Adventure Storyline
While visiting the “Exciting Art Museum,” Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo stumble upon the “Pop-Out Art Exhibition.” As Nobita searches for inspiration for his unfinished art class assignment, he uses Doraemon’s secret gadget, the “Dive-In Light,” to step into the paintings.
Inside the art world, Nobita meets Claire, a girl from the Principality of Artoria; Chai, a mischievous little demon; and Milo, a talented young artist. Together, they explore the joy of creating art. However, when Nobita makes a careless mistake, chaos ensues in Artoria. Guests will join the gang in this one-of-a-kind adventure filled with art, fun, and excitement.
