YOASOBI’s global hit “Idol” has achieved another historic milestone! According to Oricon’s latest Weekly Streaming Ranking (announced on February 5, 2025), the song recorded 2,896,529 weekly streams, bringing its total cumulative streams to 900,649,060.
This makes “Idol” the third song in Oricon history to surpass 900 million streams—but more importantly, it has achieved this feat in just 95 weeks, setting a new all-time record for the fastest song to reach this milestone.

Since its debut on the April 24, 2023 Oricon Streaming Ranking, “Idol” has consistently broken records, achieving:
