Attack on Titan x Kawasaki Horse Racing Collaboration Begins: Breaking the "Wall of Horse Racing"!
Attack on Titan Meets Kawasaki Horse Racing
On December 26, the Kanagawa Kawasaki Racing Association announced a collaboration with the popular anime Attack on Titan for the Kawasaki horse racing events scheduled from January to March 2025. With the theme, "Humanity, the Wall of Horse Racing Has Been Broken", the collaboration introduces a variety of exciting initiatives, including web commercials, a special website, and stunning on-site decorations.
Breaking Barriers with Unique Collaborations
In December, the first of three web commercials titled "Titan’s Guide to Enjoying Horse Racing" was released. The CM series, which runs through March, breaks down the "Wall of Horse Racing" by blending iconic scenes from Attack on Titan with an engaging exploration of horse racing.
At Kawasaki Racecourse, fans can enjoy exclusive Attack on Titan visuals, such as:
Giant Decorations: Showcasing the efforts of the "Kawasaki Horse Racing Survey Corps" to overcome barriers in horse racing.
"Underground Wall Murals": A special installation inspired by Erwin’s fascination with the mysteries of underground passages.
These decorations and installations are available for viewing across the venue, including:
Underground Passage: December 24, 2024 – March 19, 2025
2nd Floor of Stand 2: December 20, 2024 – March 19, 2025
Nationwide Promotion and Fan Campaigns
The web commercials and visuals aren’t limited to Kawasaki Racecourse. They’ll also be displayed on large screens at major urban centers such as Kawasaki Station, Shibuya, Umeda, and Nagoya.
To ring in the new year, a special campaign titled "I'll Pray for You!! Attack on Titan Prayer Plaque" will reward participants on X (formerly Twitter) with themed gifts. Additionally, characters like Mikasa, Hange, and Erwin will feature on the special website, guiding visitors through "Breaking Humanity’s Wall of Horse Racing" content.
The collaboration aims to make horse racing more approachable, with the Kawasaki Horse Racing Survey Corps continuing their efforts to dismantle barriers well into 2025.
