Vigilantes Spin-Off Anime Premieres April 2025

In addition to the main series' final season, the official spin-off My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (Vigilante -Boku no Hero Academia ILLEGALS-) will be adapted into a TV anime, premiering in April 2025. The manga, written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court, was serialized on Shonen Jump+ from 2017 to 2022, spanning 15 volumes.

The story explores events set several years before the main series and centers on "Vigilantes", illegal heroes who, though unrecognized by society, cannot stop themselves from saving those in need. This emotionally charged drama provides a darker look into the hero world depicted in My Hero Academia.
