Skip and Loafer Returns with Season 2

The beloved TV anime Skip and Loafer (Sukippu to Rofā) is officially getting a second season! The continuation will once again be produced by P.A.WORKS, known for their stunning visuals and heartfelt storytelling. The announcement was accompanied by celebratory comments and an illustration from the series' original creator, Misaki Takamatsu.

Additionally, fans can relive the charm of Season 1 with its rebroadcast on NHK E-Tele, starting January 5, 2025, at 5 PM JST.

A Heartwarming Tale of Growth and Connection

Based on the ongoing manga serialized in Monthly Afternoon, the story follows Mitsumi Iwakura, a bright but socially inexperienced girl who leaves her rural hometown to attend a prestigious high school in Tokyo. Though academically gifted, Mitsumi struggles with social interactions due to her sheltered upbringing. Despite this, her optimism and sincerity gradually bring happiness to her classmates, creating a delightful narrative of self-discovery and friendship.

The first season, which aired from April to June 2023, charmed audiences with its relatable characters and heartwarming humor.
