Meta has announced an immersive event, "Gundam Is Too Close by Meta Quest (JP: ガンダムが近すぎる展)," which will bring the world of Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom to life using cutting-edge VR technology. The event will be held at Tokyo Dome City Attractions from December 14, 2024, to February 24, 2025, exclusively on weekends and public holidays.

The exhibition will feature the latest Meta MR headset, "Meta Quest 3S," allowing visitors to experience parts of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom VR film, released this October. It also includes an "MR Gallery Mode," where attendees can observe mobile suits from different angles, providing a highly immersive experience.

Interactive content includes a photo spot where visitors can take a picture as if riding on the protagonist's mobile suit, "Delta Zine," AR posters that come to life through a smartphone, and original artwork displays accessible via touch panels.

Meta commented, "We want to offer a new 'Gundam' experience where people can become the protagonist." This exhibition provides a new kind of entertainment where visitors can "see, touch, and experience" the world of Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom.
