The manga "Land of the Lustrous" (by Haruko Ichikawa) will conclude in the June issue of the monthly serialization magazine "Afternoon" (Kodansha), released on the 25th, bringing an end to its roughly 12-year run since starting in 2012. To commemorate the conclusion, a campaign offering all episodes for free (excluding the final episode) was launched on the manga app "Comic DAYS," available until the 29th.

Since October 2012, "Land of the Lustrous" has been serialized in "Afternoon." Set in a distant future where "humans" were once said to exist on this planet, the series features 28 gem-bodied individuals fighting against Moon People who attack them to make ornaments. The manga's unique world, the charm of its beautiful gem characters, and its mysterious storyline have gained popularity. It ranked 10th in the "This Manga is Amazing! 2014" Men's Edition and became a popular work with its TV anime broadcast in 2017.
