　Togashi also commented at the end of the magazine, "I'm thinking about continuing the work in a way that doesn't inconvenience other people as much as possible.

Currently, the "Dark Continent Arc" (Succession to the Throne Arc) is being depicted, in which the thoughts of various characters, including Kurapika and the members of the Phantom Brigade, clash on a ship aiming to travel to an uncharted continent, and the series was to begin on October 24, 2022, with episode 391 after 3 years and 11 months.
