"HUNTER x HUNTER" Episode 391 tells the story of the mafia war that is escalating behind the battle for the succession to the throne, and as the serialization has resumed after an interval of about 3 years and 11 months, a page of commentary looking back on the "Succession to the Throne Arc" so far is also included.

The center color features the main character Yusuke from "YuYu Hakusho" and Gon from "HxH" to celebrate the resumption of serialization and the opening of the exhibition "Yoshihiro Togashi Exhibition -PUZZLE-" on the 28th. (*Yusuke does not appear in the book.)

　The series began in 1998 and is an adventure fantasy in which the main character, a young boy named Gon, goes on a journey with his best friend Kirua and his friends. Currently, the "Dark Continent Arc" (Succession to the Throne Arc) is being depicted, in which the thoughts of various characters, including Kurapika and the members of the Phantom Brigade, clash on a ship aiming to travel to an uncharted continent.

　When Togashi announced three years and 11 months ago that he would be taking a break from the"HUNTER x HUNTER" series, he commented, "I have the next 10 weeks' worth of names ready, so I will continue to work on the manuscript while consulting with my physical condition and circumstances. Currently, he is updating the progress of the manuscript on his Twitter page. The 37th volume of the latest comic will be released on November 4.
