A new update has been released for the anime "Haikyu!!" and its full-length feature film "Haikyu!! The Trash Heap Battle," which debuted on February 16. Starting April 20, the fifth installment of visitor gifts will be distributed.

Before the movie's theater debut, Haruichi Furudate's special side-story illustrations, originally published in a one-shot in Jump magazine, will be presented as a cover swap for Volume 37 of the comics to attendees. This captivating illustration shows the team from Nekoma High School leaving the Tokyo Gymnasium after a festival, set against a wintry backdrop.

Moreover, this special cover also features the character "Kenma Kozume," who has never before been included on the spine of the comics. This time, he makes an appearance exclusively for this event. The cover also features a newly updated comment from Haruichi Furudate, making it a truly rare collectible.

Additionally, to commemorate the box office revenue of 8.19 billion yen, the "Box Office Revenue Breakthrough Visual," which was recently unveiled, will be displayed as a "post-premiere poster" starting the same day in most cinemas nationwide.

This new full-length movie is a sequel to the fourth season of the anime "Haikyu!! TO THE TOP," broadcast in 2020. It is part of a two-part cinematic production. The first part covers one of the most popular arcs from the original manga, the Spring High third round, featuring the match between Karasuno High and Nekoma High, known as "The Trash Heap Battle," following the events of the Inarizaki High match depicted in Season 4.

"Haikyu!!" originated as a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from February 2012 to July 2020, portraying a youth story centered on high school volleyball. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a high school student at Karasuno High Volleyball Club, who aspires to surpass his idol, the "Little Giant," and his journey of growth alongside the "King of the Court," Tobio Kageyama, and other teammates.

The series has surpassed 60 million copies in circulation, and its anime adaptation saw four seasons aired between 2014 and 2020.
