On September 26, KONAMI announced a completely new MLB mobile game titled eBaseball: MLB PRO SPIRIT , featuring Shohei Ohtani as the face of the game. The announcement was made at KONAMI’s booth during the Tokyo Game Show, which kicked off today, with the game set to release in the fall of 2024.

This brand-new MLB mobile game allows users to experience the world of Major League Baseball anytime, anywhere. It will be available in 10 countries and regions, including Japan and the United States. Shohei Ohtani, KONAMI’s baseball game ambassador, will be the “cover athlete,” adorning key visuals and app icons for the game. In addition to Ohtani, the game will feature all 30 MLB teams, their home stadiums, and real-life players, all rendered with realistic graphics. Players can collect and train athletes to build the ultimate team and enjoy competitive matches against rivals.
