According to the official website, the PS5 Pro addresses gamers' demands for enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay at 60FPS. The key features include:

Upgraded GPU: The PS5 Pro’s GPU boasts a 67% increase in compute units and 28% faster GPU memory compared to the standard PS5, delivering up to 45% faster rendering speeds and smoother gameplay.

Advanced Ray Tracing: With improved ray tracing, the PS5 Pro can simulate light reflections and refractions at double or even triple the speed of the current PS5.

AI-Powered Resolution Enhancement: Introducing PlayStation Spectrum Super Resolution (PSSR), a machine-learning-based AI upscaling technology that significantly improves image clarity for ultra-sharp visuals.

Additionally, the PS5 Pro offers a Game Boost feature, enhancing the performance of over 8,500 PlayStation 4 titles, along with supported PS5 and PS4 games. Some PS4 games can also benefit from improved visual quality when using this setting. Moreover, the PS5 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, allowing faster and more stable wireless connectivity in regions that support the standard.
