Tessho Genda Joins Cast of New Anime Nao Toyama and Fairouz Ai Also Featured in '365 Days to the Wedding' PV Released
The second key visual and third promotional video (PV) for the TV anime 365 Days to the Wedding (set to air on October 3) have been released. Additional cast members were also announced, including Tessho Genda, who will be playing the role of Koichi Ohara, despite currently being on a break due to health reasons.
In the newly released second key visual, Takuya and Rika, confused by the unexpected direction their fake marriage plan is taking, are depicted alongside JTC members celebrating the couple.
The third PV not only delves into the relationship between Takuya and Rika but also showcases the various romantic entanglements of the characters around them, giving viewers deeper insight into the story. The PV also offers a sneak peek at the opening and ending theme songs, which were revealed last month.
Moreover, three additional cast members were announced: Nao Toyama will voice Princess Claudia of Lichtburg, a country of interest to the travel company; Fairouz Ai will voice Nao Umiyama, Takuya’s childhood friend and a glassworker; and Tesshō Genda will play Koichi Ohara, Takuya’s father, who hears about the marriage and comes all the way from Aso.
Nao Toyama's Comment on Playing Claudia
I’m really happy to be able to participate again in a work by Tamiki Wakaki-sensei, who has supported me since my voice acting debut! Claudia is a woman who tries to live true to her heart. Her words really struck a chord with me… I hope everyone enjoys the anime broadcast!
Fairouz Ai’s Comment on Playing Nao Umiyama
I’m Fairouz Ai, and I’ll be voicing Nao Umiyama! This is a wonderful work that gives you a gentle sense of longing and the warmth of human connections. Nao is an especially bright and energetic woman who brings smiles to everyone around her. I also took on the challenge of speaking in the Kumamoto dialect for the first time! Please be sure to watch!
Comment from Original Author, Tamiki Wakaki
The additional cast is amazing. I’m really looking forward to the interactions between Takuya and Rika. With the broadcast date approaching, my mind is so full of the anime that I’m worried about the progress of my manga manuscripts.
