Following the unprecedented success of "Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day" as a late-night anime that became a societal phenomenon labeled as "the most tear-inducing anime of the Heisei era," and the subsequent hits of "The Anthem of the Heart" in 2015 and "Her Blue Sky" in 2019, acclaimed as "emotional anime for adults," the team returns.

"Fureru." tells the story of a trio of childhood friends, united by the power of a mysterious creature, which allows them to connect their hearts without speaking. Set against the backdrop of modern-day communication complexities, the film explores the true essence of connection between people.

At "AnimeJapan 2024," the world's largest anime event held in March, the main characters were introduced for the first time, revealing their journey from childhood on the same island to their new life together in Tokyo's Takadanobaba at the age of 20.

Though their lives diverge into different paths - working at a bar, in real estate, and as a fashion design student - their hearts remain connected, thanks to the special power of "Fureru." Described as resembling a hedgehog and rooted in the folklore of the characters' home island, "Fureru" facilitates communication through touch, akin to telepathy, bringing together friends of varying interests and personalities in profound ways. Their friendship evolves through "Fureru's" hidden "another power."
