FUUTO PI: Kamen Rider Skull's Portrait to Be Adapted into a Theatrical Anime: Teaser Trailer Reveals "Now, Count Up Your Sins!"

The manga "FUUTO PI," a direct sequel to the 11th Heisei Kamen Rider series "Kamen Rider W," which aired from September 2009 to August 2010, has been serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" since August 2017 and has exceeded 2.4 million copies in circulation. In August 2022, it became the first series in the history of Kamen Rider to be adapted into an anime, garnering popularity across various generations. Now, a theatrical anime adaptation of "FUUTO PI" has been confirmed. The movie "FUUTO PI: Kamen Rider Skull's Portrait" will have a limited screening starting from November 8th.

This new installment will depict the highly popular episode "Begins Night," exploring what happened to Shotaro, Philip, and Soukichi Narumi on the night Kamen Rider W was born. The film will unveil untold truths from the live-action "Kamen Rider W" with the unique intensity of an anime. Yoshimasa Hosoya and Koki Uchiyama will reprise their roles as Shotaro and Philip from the anime series, and for the first time in the anime, Kenjirou Tsuda will voice Soukichi Narumi, a role previously played by Koji Kikkawa in the TV series.

The teaser visual has been revealed, showcasing a hard-boiled image with Kamen Rider Skull set against the backdrop of the crimson city of Fuuto and the silhouette of a woman holding a Gaia Memory. Additionally, a special teaser video has been released, featuring Kenjirou Tsuda’s line, "Now, count up your sins." The film continues to be directed by Yousuke Kabashima and produced by "Studio KAI," promising exquisite and detailed visuals, intense action, and the complete story of the birth of "Kamen Rider W" that can only be experienced in this theatrical anime.

To celebrate the decision to screen the movie, the anime "FUUTO PI" will be available on various streaming services, including Prime Video. Furthermore, related works, including "Kamen Rider W," will be streamed for free on the "Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official" channel.
