The series is based on the manga by Yuki Tabata, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump GIGA, both published by Shueisha, from February 2015 to May 2026. The series has surpassed 24.5 million copies in circulation worldwide.
The TV anime aired from 2017 to 2021, followed in 2023 by the film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, which was released and streamed worldwide.
Set in a world where magic is everything, Black Clover follows Asta, the only boy born without magical power, as he strives to become the Wizard King while wielding Anti Magic, a power that can nullify all forms of magic.
